Comment ça va ( C'est la crise )
The New Trend album, straight from Africa!
Born in Cameroon, Jimmy Mvondo Mvélé spent his childhood in Ebolowa.
After finishing High School, he came to Paris and enrolled at the University of Economic Science in Créteil.
Trained on the saxophone from a young age at Yaoundé's VOGT High School, Jimmy refined his art and musical culture in a prominent music school in Paris, in the Jazz Education Program lead by Michel Goldberg. After that, he went on to play in the coolest clubs in Paris and then on stage and on TV in Rio de Janeiro, Dubai, the US, Canada and Europe, as a sideman for such artists as Kassav, Les 4 Etoiles, the group Kékéle, American blues singer Johnny Copeland, Fally Ipupa, Mory Kanté, Ray Lama, Youssou N'Dour and many others.
This album "Comment ça va ? C'est la crise" is a reflection of his many artistic encounters and collaborations. It is also a tribute to Africa and to all the influences that marked his career as a musician.
